Iain Winton, a Glaswegian, spent the majority of his working life in local government mainly in the fields of recreation, leisure, public relations and promotions – including as the Blacktown City Council's co-ordinator and promoter for the 2000 Olympics with special responsibility for Softball and Baseball. A long-time dabbler in poetry-writing, Iain has had individual poems published, but this is his first collection.
