SUN WARM MEMORIES

The books of the Reciter series are designed for Australian performers, especially young performers.

The late Colin Thiele was one of Australia’s best-known and most respected authors. Storm Boy and Sun on the Stubble, two of his several books which were filmed, brought his work to the attention of wide audiences in Australia and overseas.

Sun Warm Memories captures the essence of his poetry. It is a gallery of the people, fantastic creatures and places he knew in more than fifty years.

The poems are selected to be read aloud, to be learned by heart and performed so that young Australians in the twenty-first century can enjoy the best of their cultural heritage.
