DEATH BETWEEN THE LINES

In August 1918 Rex Pymble is an AIF Lieutenant seconded to the Provost Corps in France to investigate what appear to be minor irregularities in the Battalion funds. Twelve years later, back in Sydney, and back in the Police Force, Inspector Pymble of the Fraud Squad becomes aware of a series of unsolved homicides in which the victims are all members of the Battalion which he was investigating in France.
